I found this vid take a rc helicopter landing in slow motion. In real time it was just 3 seconds. Kind of fascinating. http://helicopterscalemodels.com/e-flite-blade-sr-extreme-slo-mo-landing/ how to fly RC helicopter

His first flight
Again nothing to do with how to fly RC helicopter, but that's how it looks like if you have just simulator experience and no one giving you tips.
Old Engines
This has nothing to do with how to fly RC helicopter. A video about an old model collection with a cool RC model engine collection. Awesome.
A Blade mSR with new look
I didn't know that you can change fuselage from Blade mSR. But look at this video. Find more information on how to fly RC helicopter.

Pimp my coax helicopter
This guy should start a TV show. Not how to fly RC helicopter better how to pimp my RC helicopter. Have fun!
Onboard camera with view to rotor head
Nice video with a onboard camera view towards the rotor head so you can see how mechanic work during flight. Nice impression on how to fly RC helicopter.

Single Rotor Blade Helicopter
This guy is crazy. But it works. He took of one rotor blade and replaced it with a counterweight. Helicopter still flys. This is great example of how to fly RC helicopter.
New Walkera 4F180
Take a look at the new Walkera 4F180. Quad blade and 3 blade tail rotor. The guy from Xheli.com is a real good pilot and the presentation is awesome.

RC helicopter from the early 1970's
We are now talking about 3D helicopter, battery powered and the size of a palm. Try out this video from youtube, showing a RC helicoper from 1970's. Isn't that incredible?
Radio Control helicopters had a rough start back in the early 1970′s. They were primitive vehicles compared to what’s available today and just only had enough controllability to hover or perform slow, forward flight. This heli is an example of the USA’s first commercially produced and successful operational model, the Whirlybird 505 designed by Dave Gray and manufactured by Du-Bro, makers of accessories for R/C model airplanes. There is no gyro connected to the tail rotor as one would normally find on a modern R/C heli, the engine rotates on top of the main rotor and the fuel tank rotates under the engine with no means of observing fuel level. If the engine quits, the heli falls as if a supporting string were cut. Flight time is strictly limited to six minutes for safety reasons. Thanks go out to Joel Rosenzwieg for shooting this video!
Obstacle course as method to train your pilot skills
Watch the second half of this video. Participants in a RC helicopter tournament have to fly through a obstacle course. I like the idea, because there you really train your pilot skills. Being 100% perfect is the requirement for 3D flying. That is a great way to learn how to fly RC helicopter.

Multiplex Funcopter flying above football field
Do you remember my last post about the Funcopter RC helicopter from Multiplex. Here is another one, having a camera onbord and flying above a football field. Nice. I think, a Funcopter is a good beginner helicopter for everyone how wants to start learning how to fly RC helicopter outdoor.

Light Flight
For all of you, who like helicopter with lights... I think it is more important to spend your money on a quality helicopter to take the step form flying beginner to professional RC helicopters and put your effort into how to fly RC helicopter. What do you think?
Professional Video from the Mikado Helicopter Team
A very professional made video of the Mikado Helicopter Team. Cool music and nice camera work.<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/RgC4HhOp_oQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://www.mikado.deIs that a coal of a beginner? I bet! Lets go and practice <a href="http://www.how-to-fly-rc-helicopter.com">how to fly RC helicopter</a>.
How to attach a training kit on a RC helicopter
This is a nice squidoo lens on attaching a training kit to a helicopter. On thing to remember. To also secure tail rotor make sure the beams are longer than the tail. But it is absolutly recommended to put on a training kit when you are learning how to fly RC helicopter.
How a disfunctional gyro looks like
Take a look at this video. That is how it looks like, when a gyro is not working correctly. Good to see such cases. Then it is easier for a newbie to find out, why he or she has problems in learning how to fly RC helicopter.
Flight show form a golf cart
People are really watching this form their golf cart! Or was it done on a golf course? Anyway, it is amazing how this guy can fly. Unbelievable. Watch when he lands the helicopter. It is almost like he already turns off the engine midair and smoothly glides down. I want to know how how many helicopter he has crashed before he has learned to fly RC helicopter in that ultimate perfection.

Learn how to hover a RC Helicopter
I found this video on youtube demonstrating on how to hover a RC helicopter. Good start when you are about to lern how to fly RC helicopter. http://rchelix.com/learn-how-to-fly-rc-helicopter-first-hover.html
I is very well explained what to do. Unfortunatly not a good video quality.
In this video we get to in the future HOVER your RC helicopter. The basis of hovering moody have been explained as good as afterwards demonstrated for you.

A RC helicopter doesn't need a tail rotor!!!
I just found that on youtube ()
Here's an Aeronautical Design Project Test. I made it simple, at the time and it worked fine. This and the Hyperfly are Flying Machines, NOT helicopters and NOT designed to hover. Benson Gyrocopters fly similar and were also NOT designed to Hover!. Hopefully you will understand the purpose and reason behind my extremely simple design when RC electric helis were brand new inventions. We were trying to make it easy not hard.
Remember, this was 30 years ago!
Today, I did this for fun, a challenge, and because of the lousy weather. I decided to take the tail rotor off my Exceed RC Falcon 40 helicopter and add a foam picnic plate to it instead.
This was how I invented the Hyperfly NOTAR for Kyosho. I thought the Falcon 40 would be a good candidate to try it on. Here is what happened.
My Hyperfly design was purchased by Kyosho in Japan and had a rather long and successful sales run in far East and USA, of about 8 years.
Since there were no gyros or anybody that could help much with the fledgling electric helicopters in those early days, the RC airplane guys only wanted to fly my gas ones once up in the air..
Once I had the heli up and flying (like an airplane) they could fly around. Helis fly similar to an RC plane in forward flight.
But I always had to land it, cause I could hover and they could not.....and it was my heli! LOL.
For this reason, I designed the Hyperfly, just for forward flight.
However, with a speed control and a little wind, you could even hover it very nicely.
I hope you enjoyed this test and demonstration video.
I sure had fun as it was nostalgic for me too.
The Falcon 40 or other small helicopters will work fine for this.
See Xheli.com http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-3235026-...
Bet your friends, 'cause most would (and have) said it wouldn't work.
This design was patented jointly with Kyosho and I.
Now, go exercise your minds and develop some anti gravity RC equipment!
Thanks for watching.

Amazing what a small onboard camera can take for videos
Just fund this one. The amazing thing here is, how still the vidoe is. No shaking, no vibration. Realy cool. Not exclusively for large RC helicopter. Showing the snow outside the shop with the use of the Evolution 180 and Flycam one. Both Camera and Helicopter available at www.NimrifRCModels.co.uk

Control stick configuration on a 4 channel rc helicopter
This video explains how a 4 channel transmitter works on a rc helicopter. Don't let you irritate about 6 channel in the headline. Channel 5 and 6 are probably gyro trimming and motor speed. If you want to learn how to fly rc helicopter, this video gives you a short introduction into the control stick configuration.
Coax helicopter review.
